4 Reviews of the Glenwood Springs Social Security Office 81601 Office
Overall ratingGail Guentzel
4 years agoThere is NO WAY to contact the Glenwood Springs, Colorado, office by telephone. Not very customer service oriented when one cannot call to make an appointment. The only phone number shown is the main SSA Administration “800” number. After being on hold for an hour (or longer) they cannot even give you an appointment with this office, nor their phone number. Need to provide this very basic and desperately needed information! There is not even an email address for this office! So frustrating. Time to move into the 21st century with this office. Just telling the truth.

4 years agoI've had two good experiences with SSA Glenwood Springs recently. The first time an agent answered before my call went on hold! The second time my call went on hold very briefly. In both cases I got all the information I needed quickly and courteously. I really appreciate this improvement in the local office and commend your efforts!

3 years agoThis office is obviously horribly understaffed. You get a 3 hour window to get there, they have 1 person working. Paperwork that could be mailed (I chose not to because I have had the "we did not receive it" problem) cannot just be dropped off, you must wait to see someone. Last time was about an hour wait to hand someone the papers, he glanced at them and said thanks. Today, we tried going at 10:30. There was a lobby full of people and several said they had arrived at 9am. Again, only one person working. The only way to make an appointment is to wait to see a person. Seriously?! Absolutely the worst.
