4 years agoI went and waited in line to see someone the beginning of October. Finally got my number called and was told that I would have to talk to a manager because I am a retired teacher who also worked other jobs and have paid social security. I was told I would get a letter with an appointment and have not as of today.

4 years agoI called the Bryan Social Security Office in Bryan,Texas on October 2 for an appointment to come in and apply for my Ex-husband's Social Security. I was told that there were no more appointments available in October, but that she would put me in line for an appointment. She said to call back in 2 weeks if I had not received an appointment. I called back since I had not been called and given an appointment. Today (October 12, 2018), I was told that I was not in their list for an appointment. I was also told that they are booked with appointments all the way through December 2018. I asked what happened to me being on the list for an appointment. She didn't know or care!! Had I known that the first person I talked to was lying to me, I would have proceeded to file a complaint at that time with the proper authorities.
