11 Reviews of the Charlotte Social Security Office 28227 Office
Overall ratingSteve R.
2 years agoTook me 40 minutes to reach agent first time called. I had been terminated by my company due to COVID-19 and needed to apply for Medicare B. Ms. C explained how to complete on website and also sent both my wife and I applications in case we had problems. When I called back and confirmed info with Ms. C realized I had made mistakes on original apps completed online. She proceeded to explain how to fill out the Medicare B forms she had sent us and how to return to her attention. She then took time to confirm had received and processed. Cannot ask for any better service than this.

11 months agoI waited forever to make an appointment. Tried main number and this office number. Waited forever on the phone. No one answered. Your website is behind the times. Should be able to make an appointment on your website. Should have option on phone to leave number and be called back.

5 years agoMaybe I was just lucky but I called this office twice in the same day maybe thirty minutes apart and both were answered within five minutes. I also had two different agents that I spoke to and both were friendly. I only had questions but they were answered quickly.

4 years agoIn and out in less than 20 minutes to get signed up for Medicare benefits. Very efficient representative handled the process. Don't be intimidated by the large number of people in the waiting room....there are apparently different "lanes" for various services and initial benefit signup went very quickly.

4 years agoNegative reviews about this poorly run Charlotte, North Carolina office that violates American citizens constitutional rights are being suppressed. The SSA can't even run a posting board that isn't crooked.
