I visited the San Marcos office on Monday, July 2, 2018. The guard at the entrance did a nice job of identifying those with appointments and processing all others. Once inside, it was a quick process to talk with an agent who determined the reason for your visit and direct you to the person who could help you. I was called within a few minutes and helped by Brett who was efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful. The experience exceeded my expectations and I wanted to commend the office on the overall experience.

I paid a visit to the San Marcos office to submit the certified death certificate for my husband and it went so quickly to have the clerk xerox for a copy and return the original to me. I was pleasantly surprised that everything went so quickly. Kudos to the San Marcos office. It's a well run department.

Very positive experience at the San Marcos. I did not have an appointment, but the wait time was tolerable, not lengthy at all. All is organized, especially the calling for clients system. Jerome at my window was friendly and handled my paperwork efficiently. I was out of there a “happy camper “.

I recently turned 65 years of age and required a transition from TriCare Select to Medicare Parts A and B. I contacted the San Marcos Social Security Office and was immediately connected with Brett. He was exceptionally courteous, professional, and helpful in walking me through the process. With amazing quickness, I received my Medicare Card, was able to transfer from TriCare Select to TriCare for Life. Additionally, I ordered a new Social Security Card, which also arrived with remarkable quickness. I was required to submit my US Passport in order to prove citizenship and I did so directly to Brett who accomplished what he needed to do and returned my Passport to me within a few days. Social Security Office professionals like Brett place the utmost emphasis on customer support and work diligently to address customer needs like it is their top priority. Thank you, Brett! You set the standard of excellence very high for all others to emulate.
