First person I spoke to was rude and actually hung up on me. Second person was polite and took the time to explain. If the first conversation was recorded, I will write an official complaint regarding that person.

My wait wasn't terrible at all and even at the end of her day, the young woman who helped me getting the info I needed to take back (that day!) to the DMV was courteous, friendly, smiling, and professional! All in all a much happier, nicer, experience than at the dmv ;)

Average wait for a hearing in the US is 630 days my hearing was set up in 120days. The wait was over an hour but considering they are extremely busy it's understandable. Staff was very nice and accommodating . My hearing went smoothly . I was informed my decision would be in the mail in 60 to 90 days and I received it in only 10 days. This office seems to be much faster than average. When going to a social security office always remember: Have everything they requested of you Be paitent it will be crowded and the wait long The staff is under a lot of pressure they are doing the best they can.
