Today I had a call in the morning from the number 1 800 762 1213. A woman with an accent introduced herself as an employee of Social security. She asked for my SSI card number. I, unfortunately, confused and gave. When I began to ask why they were calling me and what happened, a man connected. I put the phone down because I suspected scammers.

Today I receive 3 voice mail telling me to press 1 to speak with a Social Security Agent and if I do not respond my Social Security will be blocked. Just to let you know I ignore the message.

I will be turning 65 in October, and wanted to speak with someone face to face. I called and made an appointment. I was seen promptly, and Sherice was a delight to work with. My only complaint is that when I called to make the appointment, the person I spoke with tried in every way to discourage me from going to the office. After about 10 minutes, he made the appointment for me. They are very organized in the office, and things seemed to run very smoothly.

Visited the Soc. Sec. office today (11-22-19). Sherice assisted me. She was professional, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable...… all with a pleasant and cheerful personality that actually made the event joyful. Unbelievable, huh??!! May all employers everywhere be lucky enough to have a Sherice! Vince
