I was really nervous about my visit to the SS office after all of the bellyaching from others. I was pleasantly surprised at the turn out. The guards were helpful to the elderly and respectful to everyone. I waited 25 minutes to be seen for a name change and was then helped quickly by a representative in window 3. The clerk was SO polite and respectful, and kindly answered any questions I had. I only wish I knew the clerks name so that I could bring him on board at our office. Great service! The service will be as nice as your demeanor is to the clerk helping you, not just here but everywhere.

Very professional people. Friendly and patient with answers. I called on phone and was a wait but no more than other companies have you on hold. Seems a mistake was made and I received a letter that was not necessary for me to receive. When explained was obvious that everything was handled properly.

Warned about the wait I went in eyes open. Was about half an hour. Not bad. My agent was very efficient and helped me schedule an appointment telling me what to bring to file for disability. Will see tomorrow if I have another great experience. Overall, I was pleased with the ss office.

Maybe I just had it lucky, but I got in at 9:25am on a Wednesday to get a replacement Social Security card. Just got out, and it’s 9:39am. It was pretty quick. And that’s even including the time it took for the teller to fix an error she made. Delete the transaction and redo the entire transaction. So I say that 15 minutes or less, is pretty awesome. Just as a reference: I brought my passport, drivers license, And an application for a Social Security card that I found on the Social Security website.
