I worked from home since about Sept 2007, doing simple bookkeeping as self-employed. Some of the clients that I did from 1999 til August 2006 contacted me after I left the office that I worked from 1999 til 2006. They were pleased with my bookkeeping, and asked me to start doing their bookkeeping for them. I was thrilled to have some income, although I realized it would cause me to be “self employed”. Still, I was tickled to be able to work from home, and have a source of income. The largest source of income was from a restaurant in Pulaski, VA, the county I still live in. It paid approximately $8400.00 per year. I also gained a few other accounts, so I have been able to live comfortably since. My husband and I live in a small home in Fairlawn, located in Pulaski County, where I grew up, so my Daddy agreed to sell us my home for a good price if we would pay a little interest. He remarried after my Mom passed way in an unexpected way. We have been able to pay off our home, as well as my husband’s grandparents home in Christiansburg. All in all, we are very fortunate, considering the state of this country and world. His great niece, who lives in the relatives house, is giving as much as she can, but no rent, at this time. We are still so blessed to be in our situation, as sad as it is. The fellow that met with me was so kind, and helpful, I give him a great thank you!!…
